「第7回ART ON OGAWAWASHI SizeA4project」
出展しています。
参加は今回で2回目です
紙すきの村さんの工房で作られた数種類の和紙を使用し
自分の制作に合った紙を選び
さまざまな作家さんが多様な作品を展示しています
この作品は2月2４日
ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻を受けたことに端を発し制作しました
世界秩序は想像以上に脆弱で不安定だったことに恐怖を覚え
日常生活はその日を境に根こそぎ奪われ
なすすべなく取り込まれてしまうこと
自分が生きている間にまさか
戦争は起きないだろうという考えが
打ち砕かれました
「戦争」
という有事が
いつ起きてもおかしくないことであり
それを予感すらできず日常生活を送っていたことに
目を開かされました
この作品には
今自分が生きている世界の
現状を抽象的に表現しています
タイトルには
この都市が
どこでもありうる場所であり
この人々が
自分でもありうるということを示しています

I am exhibiting my work in the "7th ART ON OGAWASHI SizeA4project" at the 2nd floor gallery of KAMISUKINOMURA in Ogawamachi, Saitama Prefecture from March 19 to May 31, 2022.
This is the second time for me to participate in this exhibition.
Various artists are exhibiting diverse works using Japanese paper made in the studio.
This work was created in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
I was shocked to find that the world order was more fragile and unstable than I had imagined.
That everyday life was uprooted that day.
And that we were taken in at its mercy.
The idea that war would not happen in my lifetime was shattered.
I was too optimistic.
The thought that war could happen at any time and
I was going about my daily life without being able to foresee it.
My eyes were opened.
This work
is an expression of the current state of the world.
I expressed the world I am living in now.
The title of the work is
I wanted this city to be a place that could be anywhere.
A place that could be anywhere and people could be "me".
